The Two Figures Series is a series of drawings done with India ink on paper. My intention with these drawings is to communicate as directly as possible an inner experience or state, which arises out of an encounter with The Other, whether that’s the other gender or our own shadow. In the execution of the drawings I allow intuition and the unconscious to play as large a part as conscious intention.
